Mark Croxford

Independent Financial Adviser

Investment Manager

Mark is a founding partner of Plutus and fulfils the role and responsibility of senior partner on the management team and investment committee. He holds a BA and MSc, the latter focusing on US politics and foreign and economic policies – areas Mark still finds himself drawing upon and writing about in our investment reports, as US economic policy remains intrinsically linked to stock market returns.

Mark holds a Diploma in Financial Planning and is a member of the Personal Finance Society. He also holds the Investment Management Certificate from the Chartered Financial Analyst Society UK and the Discretionary Investment Management qualification.

Mark has an incredibly diverse client base in terms of age, wealth and industry. His clients range from individuals working for the big four accountancy firms, major investment banks, entrepreneurs and business owners working in design, film and TV, technology and crypto through to what he would describe as ‘lovely individuals and families’ who are winding down or already in retirement and wishing to maximise and enjoy the fruits of their labour.

With more than 15 years’ experience, Mark has enjoyed successfully transitioning some of his longest-standing clients from the accumulation phase and the need to work through to being in a position to choose whether to continue working or seek early retirement – a process which has proven the powerful effect and demonstrable results achieved through first-class financial planning and investment management.

Did you know?

Away from the office Mark’s first and most enduring love is food, which has led him to his favourite place, San Sebastian, 10 times and counting; although mentions in dispatches should go to his wife and two young sons! He can also occasionally be found lapping south-west London’s parks and commons on foot or by bike, purely in preparation for a restaurant visit or a Sunday lunch. Mark is also a great believer in travel being both good for the soul and perspective, but also as an important feedback loop which can help shape asset allocation investment decisions.
